Have you ever missed the opportunity to tell people what you "really" wanted to say? Be prepared - don't let it happen again!

Guest Speaker: Jesus Rivera will help us explore the power of stories and how to start using them to engage, enrich, and influence others.

We are awash in an ocean of information and data. As facts becomes widely available and instantly accessible, paradoxically each one becomes less valuable. What matters most is the ability to place these facts in context and deliver them with emotional impact which is the essence of story – context enriched by emotion. This is especially important to those of us in Learning & Development.

By the end of this session YOU will be able to:

• Explain why storytelling is an effective way of communicating & influencing others

• Recall the key elements of a story

• Build your “Who am I” story

and apply all of this as an L&D professional
