DEI Special Interest Group (SIG)

Vision for DEI SIG

Develop a group of professionals who are committed to discussing DEI practices within our work and lives with the ultimate goal of enhancing DEI practices across our organizations.  

Goal for DEI SIG

During this first year of the SIG, we’ll focus on crafting a mission statement that embodies the issues that our members are encountering in their work and in their lives. We’ll also identify the emergent needs of our members and work towards looking at those needs with a DEI lens. 

Mission

We hope to develop this with our New DEI SIG members together! 

We achieve this by: 

• Holding regular meetings where individuals can share their practices and resources as well as discuss topics related to DEI.

• Evaluate situations using a DEI lens

• Bring together all levels of TD professionals to learn and grow with each other in a safe, inclusive space.
