Adobe Captivate 7.0 - The Basics

This is a beginner's course (see course description below). No prior experience with Captivate is needed or assumed. The course covers all the topics that are normally addressed in Adobe’s two-day basic Captivate course.

You must bring your own laptop. PC is preferred since there have been reported bugs using Captivate on the Mac version. The training manual, Adobe Captivate 7: The Essentials by Kevin Siegel, will be used during the class and can be purchased on Amazon.com for about $40. 

Please bring a memory stick and your own refreshments. There is a cafeteria at Essex County College, if need be. 

If you do not own or wish to purchase Captivate 7, it is recommended that you download the 30-day free trial one or two days before the first class so that you have access to the software for the duration of the course. 

You must download the software prior to the class. It can take up to 2 hours. Also, there are files that will be used during the class that need to be downloaded. Adobe calls these "Assets."

About our Instructor

Matthew Gilbert

Matthew Gilbert has been a partner with Mobile Mac & PC Training since 2003. His company instructs corporations and individuals as well as develops projects and websites. Mat is a certified Instructor and Expert in Adobe Captivate, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and InDesign in both PC and MAC platforms. He teaches over 30 different applications and provides solutions and consulting on a regular basis.

Before venturing into software training, he worked in the entertainment industry as a Prop Master and Set Decorator. He currently lives in Haworth, NJ and primarily trains within the tri-state area.
