"Walking the Talk"

“Walking the Talk” is an opportunity to learn and discuss with Dr. Richard Novak, VP of Rutgers University Office of Continuing Studies on the challenges in training and developing the professionals to support the consumption of knowledge by students and how they are cultivating a learner community throughout their organization that has fostered better communications, stimulated creative thinking and innovative problem solving across multiple business units and multiple locations. This is a unique opportunity to hear the story of the state of training in New Jersey’s largest university system and discover how their practical initiatives can carry over into your organization to help you “walk the talk.”

ASTD Competency Model: This session complements the Facilitating Organizational Change, Managing Organizational Knowledge and Improving Human Performance competencies.
