About This Event
Today’s employees rank company culture and access to ongoing professional development as crucial to the employee experience. And yet traditional one-and-done, long-form learning is not suited for either. It doesn’t fit in the post-pandemic flow of work and doesn’t inspire lasting behavior change. Smart organizations are shifting their approach to learning, building in ongoing bite-sized learning moments to help guide their people on a journey of awareness to action.
Join Geralda Vastey, Human Resources Shared Services Manager, for Atlantic Health System and Scott Greenbaum, Enterprise Client Success Manager for Blue Ocean Brain, as they share their future-focused strategies to elevate employee development and engage everyone on the DEI journey using new methods of learning and engagement. Geralda Vastey is an HR Shared Services Manager at Atlantic Health System. She leads a team of generalists that supports all functions of HR for 19,000+ team members. Her previous role includes, Senior Talent Management Consultant, where she supported learning and leadership development; from early career, to experienced leaders to high potential team members. As a certified career coach, Geralda is passionate about coaching and mentoring at every level of the team members’ talent and development journey. She strongly believes when leaders are equipped to meet their teams where they are, their level of impact to the teams’ productivity and individual’s development increases exponentially.
Geralda is DiSC certified; She holds many certifications in Leadership Development, including Purposeful Leadership 360 Assessment, Human Performance Improvement, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in HR from eCornell University.
Geralda’s past roles include, working as a Linguist for various Federal Agencies. She has also worked in the Real Estate and Hospitality industries where she provided innovative learning, technology, and talent solutions as an HRD consultant.
Geralda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, Foreign Languages and Philosophy as well as a Master of Science in Organizational Learning and Leadership from Saint Elizabeth and Barry Universities.
Scott Greenbaum is an Enterprise Client Success Manager at Blue Ocean Brain. He has been with the company for 3.5 years and in client success for 10+ years. He works with large fortune 500 companies, as well as many others, to establish and create a successful partnership. He loves building relationships and strategizing with his clients to ensure they are getting the most out of our services. As a former Division 1 athlete and tennis coach, Scott loves helping others maximize their potential and live more fulfilling lives.
